About this Class

The 54th annual Canoe the Nonquon is taking place on Saturday, June 1st. This race was started by the Lake Scugog Historical Society as a fundraiser for the Scugog Shores Museum Village. Canoe the Nonquon is sanctioned by the Ontario Marathon Canoe and Kayak Racing Association (OMCKRA). The registration fee is $67.26 per canoe, kayak or SUP. Please note this is payment for the registration fee ONLY. You are still required to register in person on Friday May 31st from 6 - 9 pm or Saturday June 1st from 7 - 10 am at the Latcham Centre, 121 Queen Street, Port Perry. At this registration, you will submit the required paperwork and receive your race number. The required registration forms, waivers, and sponsorship forms can be found online at www.scugog.ca/canoe. These can be downloaded, completed and brought to registration. Participants are encouraged to raise funds using the pledge sheet available on www.scugog.ca/canoe.
